EVERYTHING IT DOES

Everything Finscious does.

Your salary + commitments + actual spending + observed behaviour.

Grouped three ways: seeing your financial life clearly, keeping it organised and under control, and understanding what it means so you can decide better.

See your financial life clearly

"I finally know what is happening."

Know exactly what you can safely spend today.

THE DAILY NUMBER

Every morning, Finscious shows two figures — what you should spend today if the rest of the cycle is to work out, and the ceiling of what you could spend without doing real damage — plus tomorrow's projected number, so you see the consequence of a decision before you make it.

Recomputed every morning from your plan, your spending and your commitments — never a stored guess

Weighted to how your own week runs, and smoothed so it moves in steps rather than lurching

Every figure carries a reason: baseline, weekday pattern, smoothed, category pressure, recovery or final day

Let your financial record keep itself.

BANK MESSAGES, READ ON YOUR PHONE

Finscious reads your bank's transaction SMS the moment it arrives and shows a notification. It files it for you when you have filed that shop the same way before; otherwise it waits for one tap. Parsing happens entirely on the device.

The raw message and the transaction fields derived from it stay on your device

Fifteen banks recognised, with an extractor that still reads issuers it has never seen

Money in is handled too: a credit is routed to your plan, to a net-worth asset, or recorded as an asset you sold — you choose

Capture can be switched off at any time; every feature still works with manual entry

Count what is in your wallet, not what you remember spending.

CASH — COUNT YOUR WALLET

Nobody recalls a week of small cash spends. So Finscious asks for the one thing you can always check — what is in your wallet right now — and works out the rest.

You give a balance; the difference from your last count is the spending

Spread across the days it covers, weighted by the weekday rhythm Finscious learned from you

Written as ordinary transactions, so your plan, reports and score all see your cash

Stop filing the same shop for the third time.

AUTOMATIC CATEGORISING

File the same merchant the same way three times and Finscious takes it from there — and tells you what it did, rather than deciding quietly on your behalf.

Learns only from you — there is no built-in merchant list and no shared model

Learning one merchant clears it from your whole backlog at once

A merchant you file inconsistently is never forced — it keeps asking

Every automatic row is marked "auto", so your choices stay distinguishable

Plan around when your money actually arrives.

THE SALARY CYCLE AND FIVE ENVELOPES

Your financial month runs payday to payday, not 1st to 31st. Set your salary once each payday and split it across five envelopes — Needs, Wants, Investments, Loans, Insurance.

Only two of the five — Needs and Wants — ever feed the daily number; the rest is money already decided

Each cycle is its own plan; nothing carries over by accident

Once a cycle starts the split locks, so the plan can't be quietly retrofitted to what you already spent

Never be blindsided by a due date.

SCHEDULED

Log what is coming up before it is due — rent, EMIs, premiums, subscriptions, school fees — and Today accounts for it before it happens, not after.

Each entry: fixed or variable amount, mandatory or optional

A mandatory commitment is protected absolutely — the daily number treats that money as already gone

Reminders tiered by amount: 10/5/1 days for large bills, 5/1 for mid-sized, 1 day for small

Keep it organised and under control

"Important money does not disappear inside one balance."

Watch your position move without maintaining a spreadsheet.

NET WORTH THAT UPDATES ITSELF

Eight asset categories, eight liability categories — everything you own and owe on one screen. It stays current from your ordinary transactions, because both sides of the balance sheet are wired to the envelopes.

Pay an EMI, or record an extra principal payment on the Net Worth → Debt tab → that liability drops automatically

Record a purchase in Investments → the matching asset rises on its own

Supported holdings show their latest available valuation and daily change; manual holdings remain clearly marked as manual

Tap any category to open the exact instruments behind it

Savings payment vs a loan

that liability drops

Investments purchase

the matching asset rises

Know what this month's investing capacity should actually do.

THE FINANCIAL PLAN

Saving into nothing in particular while carrying a 36% card is going backwards while feeling responsible. Finscious decides where your Investments envelope capacity goes — across your Tasks and loan principal, at equal standing.

Ranked by what it costs NOT to pay: a deadline you would miss, or a rate that keeps running

A hard deadline is funded first, then debt above 12% a year, then everything on equal terms

Every line says why it was funded and shows how much you have paid this cycle

No setup needed — your loan balances are already in Net Worth

See the exact holdings behind every number.

INSTRUMENT DETAIL

Behind each Net Worth category sits the real thing — every investment and every loan, added and edited on its own screen.

Add a loan's real interest rate and remaining months → Finscious tells you the date you will be free of it

Investment instruments carry their category and current value; recurring ones are marked

Track one goal, or one debt, on its own.

GOAL AND DEBT DETAIL

Open a single goal or a single debt to see progress against what was expected, how much you have contributed, and the projected finish.

Projections are estimates from the numbers you gave — your lender's statement is always the authority

Record a sale without being told you can suddenly spend more.

SELLING AN ASSET

When you record a sale, the asset drops by that amount — a fact. Then Finscious asks one question: can you spend this money?

Say no and your plan is untouched; say yes and it raises what you can spend for the rest of the cycle

Asked, never assumed — only you know whether money from a sale is already spoken for

Understand what it means and decide better

"I know where I stand before I decide."

Track whether your financial habits are improving.

VYOM SCORE

A 0–1000 financial-fitness score built from nine factors, all ratios and rates — so a ₹20,000 earner and a ₹2,00,000 earner are measured on the same terms.

Savings rate, budget adherence, discretionary discipline, spending consistency, net-worth trajectory, plan adherence, debt paydown, emergency fund, investing regularity

Bands: Elite 800+, Excellent 650–799, Good 500–649, Fair 350–499, Needs Improvement below

A factor that does not apply to you is reweighted, not scored as a zero; recording less can never raise it

Not a credit score — no relationship to CIBIL, never shared with a lender

Understand where the money goes — and take it with you.

REPORTS AND THE PDF FINANCIAL REPORT

Your spending cycle over cycle as a trend line, an envelope breakdown, or a table you can export — plus a full financial report as a PDF.

One, three, six or twelve months at a time; CSV export whenever you like

The PDF carries a cover page, an executive summary, income and net-worth statements, a cash-flow statement, liabilities and goals schedules, and a methodology note

Reports describe, they never take credit — "your overspending was ₹1,900 lower", never "Finscious saved you ₹1,900"

Have the small checks done for you, not assigned to you.

WHAT FINSCIOUS NOTICED

Finscious watches for the seven things worth telling you about, and says so — with the arithmetic each one came from.

Commitment coverage, commitment collision, commitment load, emergency runway, micro-spend, planned vs actual, weekend premium

Nothing to check, nothing to tick off, nothing added to your day

Stays empty when things are in order rather than filling itself with zeroes

Get a short read on the week and the month, without asking.

DIGESTS

Weekly and monthly retrospectives — what changed and what it means — delivered to you and kept in a history you can look back through.

Short by design; a briefing, not a report

Every digest you have received stays available

Do the loan maths before you take the loan.

LOAN CALCULATORS

A what-if sandbox in four parts. Nothing here is saved — it is a scratchpad.

EMI — what a loan of a given size, rate and term costs each month

Compare — two loans side by side

Prepay — what a little extra every month removes in months and interest

Afford — the largest loan a given monthly payment can carry

Also in the app

NRI and multi-currency — set a base currency once and every screen converts; everything is still tracked underneath

App Lock — your fingerprint, face or device PIN on top of Google Sign-In

In-app Guide with tap-to-listen playback — tap any sentence to start from there; reads properly in Marathi and Hindi

Export your data — a complete copy as a zip, any time, without asking

Encrypted recovery backup — keep your 12-word phrase and a backup file so your local data can be restored after reinstalling

Delete your account — from Settings, or by email without the app; a 30-day grace period, then permanent

No advertising identifier, no analytics toolkit, no crash-reporting SDK — absent from the build, not switched off in a setting

Every feature does the arithmetic — and none makes the judgement for you.

Finscious is a Family Finance Suite. It is not a bank, a payment service, an investment adviser, or a lender. Figures shown are informational estimates — always verify against your actual bank and loan statements before making financial decisions.
