What we collect, why, and what you control.
Your money. Your data. Your control. Finscious is informational software. It never moves your money and cannot make a payment on your behalf.
Local-first (the default): your financial data stays only on your own phone, in an encrypted database. We do not receive it.
GCS (optional, when offered): your financial data is kept encrypted in a secure Google Cloud environment in India that Finscious staff cannot read. You choose it on a separate consent screen.
Your name and email from Google sign-in, your consent records, and a notification token if you turn notifications on. No location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics or advertising software in the app.
Encrypted on your phone, in transit, and at rest on our servers. Our databases are in India.
Sign-in is with Google, so we never store a password.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Export what we hold, withdraw a consent or delete your account at any time from Settings. Full details are in the Privacy Policy, and questions go to legal@finscious.com.
