How we protect your data, in short.
In Local-first mode your financial data is stored only on your phone, in an encrypted database whose key is held by your phone's secure hardware.
Everything the app sends to our servers is encrypted in transit.
Our databases are stored in India, and everything we hold is encrypted at rest. In GCS mode your financial data is kept in a secure environment that Finscious staff cannot read.
You sign in with Google, so we never store a password.
You can lock the app with your phone's screen lock.
We plan an independent security review of Finscious.
If you find a security issue, email legal@finscious.com. We will acknowledge it and keep you informed.
